Trumpeters Drift has a range of activities to be enjoyed. Come experience them for yourself!
On a typical day at Trumpeters Drift a variety of activities are available to be enjoyed. Spend your days lounging by our beautiful blue pool, going on an unforgettable sundowner game drive or enjoying a traditional braai on the reserve. Other activities you can enjoy include:
Hunting Safaris are all on foot where you’ll be accompanied by a trained professional hunter and tracker as guides on your hunting safaris. Find out more about what to expect on a typical day of hunting on our hunting page.
Fishing is another activity that can be enjoyed at Trumpeters Drift. We have an expansive man-made dam on the reserve filled with large-mouth bass. Cast off and relax with a beer as you enjoy a sunset on the reserve. While fishing you may even encounter some Zebra and impala, which frequent the dam.
Experience the beautiful flora and fauna on the reserve with the assistance of an experienced guide. Learn all about the different vegetation found in this semi-arid reserve and possibly glimpse some of our resident animals. Spend the day exploring the rolling hills and enjoying a delicious picnic on a seasonal river bed.
If hiking is of no interest to you, you’ll be able to experience the wonder of the reserve from the comfort of one of our 4×4 vehicles.
All activities mentioned above are fully inclusive. It is best to pre-book activities to ensure availability.
